Why should I do this Luke?

Mastering the guitar isn’t just about learning, it’s about remembering. Advanced techniques and theories fade fast if you don’t revisit them. What once felt effortless can slip away, and rebuilding takes far longer than maintaining. True mastery comes from repetition, pushing beyond what’s comfortable until it’s second nature. Return here every two weeks. Refine. Reinforce. Elevate. The greatest players never stop sharpening their skills. Keep climbing.
Who is this for?
Anyone preparing for Grade 3 to Grade 5. No exceptions. You must learn and practise everything on this page up to the section marked Grade 6 to 8 only. Work through it carefully and build the solid foundation you need.
For Grades 6 to 8:
Now is your time to shine. You are expected to be a rock god, a supreme musical prodigy who knows everything here inside out. This is the practice that separates professionals from the rest.

Why This Mindset Matters

Stop Here If You Do Not Get This
If you do not build the right mindset now, you may as well stop now, because the rest will not matter. Advanced players are not made by scales or flashy licks, they are built from the inside out. If you are chasing applause or trophies you will fall apart. If you love the journey and take full ownership, you will rise. Your inner world shapes your outer world. Get this right, or nothing else matters.
Mastering the fretboard unlocks total freedom. No more guessing. Just instant access to notes, chords, and scales anywhere on the neck. Improvisation flows, songs become easier to learn, and creativity soars. Revisit it often, and you’ll never feel lost on the guitar again.
You only need to do the first drill in this video ⬇️. Unless we've agreed otherwise

It’s about unlocking presence, intuition, and mastery in every part of life. The greats don’t just play notes; they channel something indescribable. This is how you find your voice. How you stand out, not just as a musician, but as a person.
